Accordingly, the Tamil Nadu government has issued an order to fill up the 4,000 vacant salesman and packer posts in ration shops across Tamil Nadu through the district recruitment centers. It is stated that +2 pass or equivalent educational qualification is required for a salesman job. Similarly, the SSLC pass has been announced as mandatory for packer postings.
