Officials Should Ensure The Supply Of Essential Items To The Public- TN CM: The Tamil Nadu CM M.K. Stalin has made an announcement regarding the availability of necessary things. Lockdown Situation in TN:

Since the last year (2020), the COVID 19 situation makes the people suffer for their necessary things and needs. This because the lockdown in India. This year also contains the same problem because of COVID 19 second Wave and Lockdown. The Tamil Nadu government has made an announcement of regarding the necessary things. The government states that the officials ensure that the people of the state get their necessary things on time during this lockdown.

Supply of Essential Items:

The Tamil Nadu has been continuing the lockdown since May 10, 2021. The state government has imposed the partial lockdown from May 10, 2021 to May 24, 2021. After the day, the state government has announced the full lockdown in the state in order to control the COVID 19 situation. Due to this full lockdown there is a possibility of hardship to get necessary things. To prevent this, the state CM has announced the followings

  • The curfew should ensure uninterrupted supply of essential items to the public.
  • Essential items such as vegetables, fruits and milk should be distributed without any restrictions.
  • The concerned officials should ensure that the essential items are available without any restriction of stay and at reasonable prices.
  • The project should be better implemented in rural as well as urban areas.
  • In Tamil Nadu, 4,900 metric tons of vegetables and fruits were distributed by 6,296 vehicles in a single day 24 May 2021.
  • Ensure distribution of essential commodities in collaboration with local bodies.
