Extension of Quarterly Leave for Classes 6 to 12th Students – TN Education Department Announced!!! Quarterly exams are being held for all government school students across Tamil Nadu. Following this, holidays have been announced for the students of classes 1 to 12 after the completion of this examination. Accordingly, the quarterly vacation was announced for the students of classes 1 to 5 till October 9.

Later, the Department of Elementary Education announced that the holiday would be extended till October 12. It was also announced that numeracy and literacy training for school teachers would be conducted from October 6 to 8. Following this, the quarterly vacation for the students of classes 6 to 12, which was announced till October 5, has now been extended.
Accordingly, the School Education Department has informed that the quarterly vacation for the students of classes 6 to 12 will be extended till October 9. In this regard, Commissioner of School Education Nandakumar and the Director of Elementary Education have sent circulars to all schools.
