B.E., B.Tech Engineering First Round Counseling Ends Today in Tamil Nadu – Admission Committee Notification!! The first round of general category counseling for engineering studies in Tamil Nadu has ended today. The engineering counseling for this academic year started a bit late due to the results of the NEET exam. And now the first round of counseling has been completed today.

Accordingly, at the end of the first round, a total of 6,277 candidates have received the reservation order and joined the colleges in all categories. Following this, the Engineering Admission Board has announced that 4,460 students will get the allotment order and join the colleges. The counseling for the engineering courses was planned to be conducted in 4 phases. Earlier, counseling was conducted for the students of the special section.
This will be followed by supplementary counseling from November 15 to 20. This year 11,150 seats are to be filled in the BE category under the 7.5% reservation of the Tamil Nadu government. Meanwhile, Information has been received that 23,711 students have applied under the 7.5 percent seat reservation to study in government schools and join engineering courses.
