TISS Eligibility Criteria

Assistant Professor: Candidate should have completed Postgraduate degree with 55% marks or equivalent educational qualification in /M.A. in Education/Any discipline of Social Sciences/Allied subjects from an Indian University and candidate should cleared NET conducted by the UGC or similar test link CSIR, SLET/SET should be cleared by the candidate or candidate should be awarded a PhD Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission or from a foreign university/institution with a ranking among top 500 in the World University Ranking

Counsellor, Saksham Pravaah: Candidate should have completed Post graduate in Social Work (Health & Mental Health or Public Health or Community Organization) or M.A. in Counseling or Clinical Psychology or completed Master in Public Health or Master in Health Administration. MSW in HR will not be considered and candidate should have 1 to 3 years of work experience in health related counselling. E.g., HIV/AIDS, RCH, TB, STI, ART, suicide prevention

Assistant Professor Salary 2021

Assistant Professor	Pay Band Rs. 15600 – 39100; AGP Rs. 6000/- that is  Rs. 71000/-
Counsellor, Saksham Pravaah	Rs. 17,000 – Rs. 20,000/- per month.

Counsellor, Saksham Pravaah Job Description

• Counsellor, Saksham Pravaah is responsible for giving counseling to TB and HIV patients
• Improve TB-HIV linkages and link with ART centers.
• Undertake home visits to DR TB patients within the district for providing follow up counseling
• Candidate should have Good communication skills in English, Hindi and local Language
• Candidate should have knowledge in MS Office-Word, Excel and PPT and Willingness to travel within the assigned district and to work with TB patients

TISS Application Fee

For the post of Assistant Professor Candidates belong to general category should have to pay Rs. 1000 as application fee and SC/ST/PWD candidates should pay Rs. 250 as application fee
