17,000 Seats are Vacant for Commerce Admission in Gujarat University – Report Said!!! There are some report say that, 17,000 seats are vacant in Gujarat University and its affiliated colleges. Earlier the online and offline admissions for the new academic year in business colleges affiliated to Gujarat University had started.

GU affiliated colleges offer 41,181 seats for undergraduate courses in Commerce, BBA and BCA. Accordingly, 23,669 students have been allotted seats in various colleges at the end of the three rounds of admissions. Now the GU Admission Committee has invited applications from the students who did not get a seat in the first 3 rounds.

Accordingly, the colleges have received a total of 20,927 applications including multiple applications from the same students. Among them only 3,291 students have been allocated seats on yesterday. However it is expected that 17,512 commerce seats are currently vacant in GU colleges and around 15,000 to 16,000 seats may remain vacant at the end of the offline round.
