JIPMER Will Charge For Medical Treatment From April 1: The Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research in Pondicherry is one finest hospital for higher-grade treatment has recently made an announcement that the institute is going to charge for medical check-ups for certain treatments from April 1, 2023.
According to the report, the institute is planning to charge for 63 types of advanced treatment which cost from Rs.500 to Rs. 12,000. This does not apply to the patients who are having Ayushman Bharat Health Insurance Scheme and the patient having a Red ration card said the report.
This is officially announced by the Medical superintend of JIPMER to all the heads of the departments. The institute has introduced this kind of expensive advanced treatment, so it has been planned to charge the beneficiaries to continue this treatment said report.
