Assam TET- qualified teachers are not accepting the annual appraisal. They are the contract basis TET qualified teachers, working in the schools. The teacher’s community refuses the system of the annual appraisal.
Association President said that, earlier the Assam government assured that service of contractual teachers period extending the age of up to 60.but now the government doing the unfair decision. They partially restricted the service period to one year on the cover up of annual appraisal application.

And also the association said that if the government does not fulfill its commitments to resolve the services of contractual teachers then they will not cooperate in any non-teaching function assigned to them.
