TCS Fresher Hiring count expected to touch 1 Lakh in FY 2022: Set Target of 77000 in first half of this year!!!Previously, India’s Largest Information Technology Firm Tata Consulting Service (TCS) announced to hire 77000 fresher in first half of FY22, which in higher than 2021 FY 40,000 people. By this rate TCS would touch 100000 fresh candidates recruitment count in the end of 2022.

Earlier TCS set Target for hiring 55000 fresher in FY 2022. But due to increased attrition rate the count was increased up to 77000. Now, TCS already hired 34000 candidates within December 2022. TCS also reported Attrition rate of 15.3% which is lowest when comparing to other large IT sectors such as Wipro, Infosys, CTS, HCL, etc.,

TCS also gave 110000 promotions till December 2021 and it also planned to given another 40000 promotion before March 2022. TCS Human Resource Officer Milind Lakkad said that “Our hiring intensity will continue but we don’t have any particular number for the coming quarter”. TCS also increased salary, incentive and hiring cost to hold their employees.

CTS and Infosys each announced to hire 45000 people in FY 2022. HCL set target to hire 22000 freshers Tech Mahindra going to hire 15000 candidates in the year 2022. Infosys has the highest attrition rate of 25% among all major IT firms followed by Wipro 22.7%. Those companies also increased their salary and started to give attractive incentives to hold their employees.
