Anbil Mahesh, the Minister of Education, met with reporters this morning to discuss the opening of schools. Minister Anil Mahesh stated that schools will operate normally in the upcoming academic year, with the Class 10 general test beginning on April 3, 20, March 14 for Class XII and March 13 for Class XII in 2023.
The announcement comes as schools prepare to reopen on June 13 after renovations, teacher training, and the implementation of a breakfast programme. The corona pandemic has forced the closure of schools in Tamil Nadu. Following this, the schools reopened and classes resumed in September of the previous academic year. Due to the Corona 3rd wave, schools were closed again in January and reopened in February.
