Tamil Nadu: Arts College Counselling starts from 05.08.2022!!! Check DCE Guidelines and Details Here.Government institutions are to begin the first round of admissions counselling on August 5 at the Directorate of Collegiate Education (DCE). Additionally, it has requested that colleges post the ranking list on their websites by Wednesday.
In the state’s 163 government arts and science institutions, the directorate has received over three lakh applications for one lakh seats. “The website already has the data for UG applicants. The process can be downloaded and started by the teachers, “Director M Easwaramurthy stated in a circular.
Additionally, it instructed the universities to issue offline applications and offer admission in accordance with standards once the list of registered candidates was depleted. The announcement of the start of lessons for first-year students was made in the circular as well.
Guidelines for admission to the Government Arts and Science Colleges in Tamil Nadu for the academic year 2022–2023 have been released by the Directorate of Collegiate Education (DCE).
The Director of College Education stated that colleges could download their UG applicants’ data from the website www.tngasa.in using their login and begin the admissions process in a circular sent to the principals of all government arts and science colleges. They have been requested to guarantee the security of the data and make sure that these particulars weren’t disclosed to any outside parties.
With the assistance of the School Education Department, the Class XII marks of candidates who passed their exams in June 2022 have been verified. The records will be marked if there are any candidates who have not been confirmed.
The institutions must notify the DCE and post the final rank lists for the various categories of candidates on their respective websites on or before August 3 following data verification.
Candidates may be taken into consideration for other medium/shift/courses depending on the requirements and eligibility if seats in one medium/shift/course are filled.
