SSSC Clerk Exam Date 2020 Postponed Notice Released on the official site. High Court Of Punjab And Haryana At Chandigarh – It is notified for the information of all the concerned candidates that the Computer Proficiency Test for the posts of Clerk in the Subordinate Courts of Haryana which was earlier scheduled to be held from 20th to 22nd March, 2020 is postponed and tentatively fixed for 24th to 26th April, 2020 in view of the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19). Admit cards indicating the date, time, batch and venue will be uploaded in due course.

SSSC Clerk Exam Date 2020:
It is for the information of all concerned candidates who have been shortlisted for the Computer Proficiency Test for the posts of Clerk in Subordinate Courts of Haryana that the Computer Proficiency Test will be held on 20.03.2020, 21.03.2020 & 22.03.2020. Admit cards indicating the date, time, batch and venue of the examination will be uploaded on 27.02.2020 on the website www.sssc.gov.in. Now the exam date will be postponed. The CPT schedule from 24th to 26th April, 2020.
Computer Proficiency Test will consist of Word Processing and Spreadsheet, both of which will be of qualifying nature. In the Word Processing part of Test, candidates will be provided with a passage of 600- 700 words printed on a paper and the candidates will have to type the same on computer in specially programmed software.
SSSC Clerk CPT Details:
Candidates will be required to type as many words as possible in the duration of 10 minutes. The required minimum typing speed to qualify the Typing Test is 30 W.P.M. Typing Speed will be calculated by using the following formula :- No. of words typed-Mistakes 10 In the Spreadsheet part of Test, 5 questions of MS EXCEL will be asked comprising of 2 marks each.
The candidates will be required to solve these questions in MS EXCEL 2007/2010 office version within the duration of 10 minutes. The aforesaid Computer Proficiency Test is of qualifying nature only and the final merit will be prepared on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in written examination held on 10.11.2019.
Thereafter, out of total candidates who qualify the written examination, the number of candidates as decided by Hon’ble the Central Recruitment Committee may be called for Computer Proficiency Test i.e. to access the proficiency of candidates in operation of computer (word processing and spreadsheets), which is mandatory but the marks of this Computer Proficiency Test would not be counted towards the final merit as this test will be only of qualifying in nature.
Computer Proficiency Test shall comprise of two parts. In Part-I i.e. Word Processing Test, the candidates will have to qualify Computer Typing Test in English at the speed of 30 W.P.M. In Part-II, Candidates will have to qualify the Spread Sheet Test.
However, Hon’ble Committee reserves the right to amend the criteria as to require typing speed to qualify the Computer Proficiency Test. The number of candidates as decided by Hon’ble Central Recruitment Committee, who qualify the written test as well as Computer Proficiency Test, will be called for checking of original testimonials/interaction.
Candidates are advised to regularly visit the website. However, the month of examination may be changed as per administrative exigencies. Written examination and Computer Proficiency Test can be conducted anywhere in the State of Punjab, Haryana and U.T Chandigarh as per the availability of the Institutes. No candidate is allowed in the examination centers with mobile & other baggage material during written test and Computer Proficiency Test.
