SSC MTS Recruitment 2023 Age Limit:
- The crucial date for age reckoning is fixed as 01-08-2023 in accordance with the provisions of DoP&T OM No. 140l7/70/87- Estt.(RR) dated 14-07-1988.
- Candidates do not exceed 18-25 years (i.e. candidates born not before 02.08.1998 and not later than 01.08.2005) for MTS and Havaldar in CBN (Department of Revenue) and 18-27 years (i.e. candidates born not before 02.08.1996 and not later than 01.08.2005) for Havaldar in CBIC (Department of Revenue) and few posts of MTS
Permissible relaxations in Upper age limit for different categories are as under:

- Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff: in Pay Level-1 as per Pay Matrix of 7th Pay Commission.

SSC MTS Recruitment Process 2023:
- The recruitment process for the post of MTS will consist of Paper-I i.e. Computer Based Examination (CBE), Paper-II (Descriptive) and Document Verification.
- The recruitment process for the post of Havaldar will consist of Paper-I i.e. Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST), Paper-II (Descriptive) and Document Verification.
SSC MTS Recruitment 2023 Fee:
- Candidates have to pay the Application Fee is Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only).
- Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and ex servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.

- Applications must be submitted in online mode at the website of the Commission i.e. https://ssc.nic.in. For detailed instructions, please refer to Annexure-III and Annexure-IV of this Notice. Sample proforma of One-time Registration and online Application Form are attached as Annexure-IIIA and Annexure-IVA respectively.
- Candidates are advised in their own interest to submit online applications much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/ inability or failure to login to the SSC website on account of heavy load on the website during the closing days.
