SSC Important Notice: Directly from the Desk of Chairman – Recruitment and Exam Process may slow down because of Covid-19 Infection!!! – Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released an important notice directly from the Desk of Chairman. This notice states that, Covid-19 infection rate is again started to get increase. So some of the process in SSC like conducts of examinations, evaluation, Document Verification, etc which requires Physical Attendance may not be conducted as per Schedule.

The board also announced that, SSC conducted 21 examination for around 1.80 Crore candidates. The biggest examination of these 21 is Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2021 which was conducted from 16-11-2021 to 15-12-2021. Over 71.74 Lakhs candidates have been appeared for the examination.

Among those 21 examinations, 7 exam final results were declared and a total of 29,160 candidates have been recommended for appointment during the FY 2021-22. For the remaining recruitment examinations, Result declaring and other process may get delayed because of Covid-19 infection.

In addition, SSC announced the results of 21 intermediate stages of examinations, with around 6.5 lakh individuals being shortlisted for the next phases of examinations. And SSC announced 5 examination, response from 1.55 crore candidates have been received for those examination. The notice said that those exam process may get slow down due to infection rate of Covid-19.
