SSC CGL 2019 Skill Test:
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) had already announced the skill test date for the Combined Graduate Level Examination 2019. As per the announcement, the skill test will take place on 15.09.2021 and 16.09.2021 across the country. Now the board has released a notice (FILE NO. 08/02/2021-C-I) regarding the same.
As per the notice, the this skill Test will comprise of three modules, namely, Data entry Speed Test (DEST), Power Point Presentation/Generation of Slides (MS Power Point), and Spread Sheet (MS Excel). For Data Entry Speed Test (DEST), a master text passage of about 2000 (two thousand) key depressions will be given. Duration of this test will be 15 minutes. Candidates can only type the equivalent number of words given in the master text passage. For example, if there are 500 words in the master text passage, candidates can type only 500 words and after that space bar will not allow.
Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) comprises of additional two modules named as Power Point Presentation/Generation of slides (MS Power Point) and Spread Sheet (MS Excel). Duration of each module will be 15 minutes. So, the candidates are advised to familiarize themselves with Microsoft Office – 2007 and above. The direct link to download the notice is provided below.
SSC CGL 2020 Notification Correction Details:
Another notice of SSC (F. No. 3-4/2020 P&P-I (Vol.1) states about the amendment that made in the relevant Para(s) of the Notice of Combined Graduate Level Examination – 2020 Examination. The notice contains the details for the categories of disabled persons as specified under ‘The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016’. Such candidates are eligible for the Post of Assistant Section Officer (ASO) and Senior Secretariat Assistant (SSA/UDC) in the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).
