SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam 2020 postponed due to COVID-19 spike; New Date Announced Later. Latest News Update for SSC CHSL Tier I 2020 Examination!!! “Due to the surge in COVID-19 cases across the country, the Commission has decided to defer the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination (Tier-I), 2020 with effect from 20-04-2021. Fresh dates for the balance candidates of the said examination will be intimated in due course”.
Staff Selection Commission has postponed Combined Higher Secondary Examination 2020 with effect from 20th April 2021. The decision has been taken due rising number of cases of Corona Virus (COVID – 19). However, the exam stands postponed with effect from April 20. The postponement has been announced due to the rising cases of COVID-19 across the country.
Earlier, the Commission released the SSC CHSL 2020 admit card on the official website ssc.nic.in. SSC CHSL 2020 Tier-I exam was scheduled to be conducted from April 12 to 27; Then Now the Examination was postponed due to COVID -19 spike. So Candidates can download the Fresh Exam Date from our website (After Released by SSC portal)
There are 4726 vacancies to be filled through the exam year, including 158 vacancies for LDC/JSA/JPA, 3181 for PA/SA and seven for DEO posts. The new exam dates for the candidates sitting for SSC CHSL from 20 April to 27 April 2021 shall be announced later on the official website of ssc i.e. ssc.nic.in.
Earlier, SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam was scheduled to be conducted from April 12 to April 27, 2021, at various examination centres across the country, India. However, due to the rapid surge in COVID 19 cases in the country, students were urging for the postponement of the examination.
