Southern Railway Recruitment 2021 Age Limit:

• Entry Level age limit of Candidates for appointment as Contract Medical Practitioners (CMPs) has been raised from 50 years to 53 years with effect from 10.05.2021.
• The maximum age limit is also raised from 60 years to 65 years or 12 terms whichever is earlier, and each term of engagement shall not exceed more than one year with effect from 10.05.2021.

Indian Railway SR Recruitment Educational Qualification:

Aspirants should possess the following educational qualification as respect to the post they want to apply.

• CMP: The candidate should have passed M.B.B.S Degree and registered with the Indian Medical Council.
• Physician: MD , General Medicine

Indian Railway Job Experience:

Applications are invited from eligible Doctors from open market and Retired Government Medical Officers from Central / State government. So the candidates should attach their documents regarding the experience with the application.

Southern Railway Job Salary:

Selected candidates will get the salary as per the norms of the board with respect to the post they will be selected for as follows.

• General Duty Medical Officer: Rs.75, 000/- (includes towards House Rent & Transport Allowance).
• Physician: Rs.95,000/- (includes towards House Rent and Transport Allowance )

Retired State/Central Government Medical Officers: Rs.75, 000/ Rs.95,000 subject to the condition that Remuneration plus Pension drawn by Retired doctors should not exceed last Pay drawn.

Southern Railway Recruitment Process:

The Candidate shall undergo a medical examination, before the contract is entered into, for fitness to perform the work awarded.  Online interview will be held on 18.05.2021. Candidates selected for engagement of CMP/Physician will be advised by mobile / mail ID and they should bring their Original Certificates for verification along with the self-attested Photo copies on the date of engagement on contract basis.
