Mr. Mansukh Mandaviya, union Health Minister asked the National Expert Group to suggest ways and work on modalities to open schools across India- reported by the sources. According to the sources “COVID-19 has affected children of all age groups. However, the mortality rate and severity of disease in children are negligible. Health experts believe that it is high time children return to schools”.

From January 3 the next phase of COVID-19 second dose vaccination commenced for the adolescents in the age group of 15 to 18 years. It is expected that, after the complete vaccination for the eligible students, the schools would be reopen with proper precaution guidelines across the nation.
