Schools are gradually opening in many states as the corona epidemic continues to decline. As a first step, schools are open only to the upper classes. Classes were first started for high school students because they were preparing for the Board exam. State governments have now issued a statement regarding the opening of schools for intermediate classes as well.
Pune Schools Opening:
Pune Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar has announced that schools from Class 5 to 8 will start schools from February 1. And schools are already open for 9th to 12th grade students.

State education officials said the decision on the opening of schools would be taken based on the situation in the respective areas in the state of Maharashtra.
Haryana Schools Opening:
Haryana State Education Minister Kanwar Paul last Wednesday spoke about the reopening of schools for students in classes 6 to 8. It was also announced that the opening of schools for the first 5th classes would be announced after 15th February, while the first schools for 10th and 12th classes were started on 14th December. The first classes for classes 9,11 started on December 21st. All schools are open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Opening of schools in Himachal:
In Himachal Pradesh, the government is scheduled to reopen schools from Class 5 to 8 from February 1. The same classes will start again from February 15 after the winter holidays.

Medical colleges have been open since last month. All other colleges will operate as usual from February 8th.
Jammu:
It has been announced that schools for 9th to 12th classes in Jammu & Kashmir will be reopened from February 1. This notice applies to all government schools, government-aided schools, and private schools.
All schools have instructed students to obtain a letter of admission from their parents.
