Schools Are Suddenly Closed From Today Due to Bad Weather .The state government of Meghalaya announced the leave to schools across that region from today onwards. The reason for this sudden holiday is that, the problem in weather statement. So the schools in Meghalaya is shutting down from today on 17 June, 2022 to 20 June, 2022. An official notice circulated regard this sudden holidays.

Due to heavy rainfall in the places of Meghalaya, Assam and many north-eastern areas the schools are closed in those regions. The official circular reads, “In view of the inclement weather and warning by IMD (Indian Meteorological Department) MET Centre Shilldig on heavy to very heavy rain with isolated extremely Heavy Rainfall which is very likely to continue over Meghalaya during next 5 days, all Schools shall remain closed w.e.f. 17′ June up to 20′ June 2022. The respective Deputy Commissioner(s) are advised to assess and examine on a case-to-case basis, on the safety for reopening of schools in their respective Districts.”
