Scholarship For 11th Class Students: The Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu has announced that the Scholarship Scheme for Talented Rural Students studying in Class 11 through the Aptitude Test (Tamil Nadu Rural Students Talent Search Examination). The purpose of the Tamil Nadu Rural Students Talent Search Examination (TRUST) is to identify students of high scholastic achievement in middle school and give scholarships to them for higher studies. The examination will be held in August Last Sunday of every year. The Scholarship scheme for Talented Rural Students shall be conducted for the students who are currently studying in IX STD in recognized schools only.
The completed application along with the income certificate of Tahsildar should be signed by the respective Principals / Principal and forwarded to Principal Education Officers. A merit list of 50 boys and 50 girls from each Revenue District will be given scholarships up to a bachelor’s degree.
