SAIL Recruitment 2021 Eligibility criteria
Age limit
Age limit for General Duty Medical Officer post candidate must be below 69 years on the date of interview and for Proficiency Training of Nurses upper age limit is 30 years and relaxation in upper age limit to 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC & ST candidates.
Education Qualification
For GDMO Post: Candidate should have MBBS from MCI recognized University / Institutes and should have relevant work experience shall be given preference.
For PTN Post: Candidate should Pass in B.Sc. (Nursing) / Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery and Internship Certificate (if applicable). Candidate should have a Certificate of Registration valid as on closing date of receipt of application.
SAIL Recruitment 2021 Salary Details
Shortlisted candidates are eligible to getting salary for PTN post stipend per month Rs. 8000/-plus Knowledge Enhancement Allowance per month maximum up to Rs. 7020/- linked to attendance and for General Duty Medical Officer post salary is Rs. 70,000/- per month from the respective board.
SAIL Recruitment 2021 Selection process
For PTN Post: Candidates have to appear for online/off-line interview as per the schedule, which will be communicated to the candidates through email/website. In case of online interview, all certificates & documents in support of eligibility will be physically verified with the original for the first time prior to joining and if any candidate fails to produce the same, he/she will not be allowed to join and their Candidature will be cancelled.

For GDMO Post: Candidates are shortlisted through virtual interview followed by a Medical Screening. candidates will be called to attend a virtual interview on 07.05.2021. Details of the virtual meeting shall be communicated to candidates via email on the email ids provided by them at the time of application.

- Valid Registration Certificate issued by MCI or any State Medical Council.
- Certificate of MBBS
- Photo Identity Proof (Voter ID/PAN Card/Aadhaar Card/ Driving License/Passport)
- Candidates claiming benefit of reservation should send Caste Certificates in the format for appointment to posts under Government of India/ Central Government/ Public Sector Undertaking (format available in our website www.sail.co.in) issued by a Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar.
- OBC candidates belonging to „Creamy layer‟ are not entitled to OBC concession and such candidates have to indicate their category as General. OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates are required to send the requisite certificate in the prescribed format issued by the competent authority on/ after 01/04/2021 and valid on the date of advertisement.
