SAIL Overman, Mining Sirdar & Other Posts Notification 2019 – 72 Vacancies
Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Collieries Division, has released Notification for the Post of 72 Overman, Mining Sirdar & Surveyor. Applications are invited from interested and eligible candidates. Candidates can apply Online from 14.02.2019 to 10.03.2019.

Name of the Post:
- Overman, S-3 – 19 Posts
- Mining Sirdar, S-1 – 51 Posts
- Surveyor, S-3 – 01 Post
Age Limit: Candidates should have completed Minimum 18 years to Maximum 28 years as on 10.03.2019. For Age Relaxation details, Candidates can refer the Official Notification.
Education Qualification:
- For Overman – Candidates should have completed Matriculation with 03 years Diploma in Mining Engineering from a Govt. recognized Institute with minimum 50% aggregate marks (40% aggregate marks for SC/ST/Departmental candidates) with Overmanship Certificate of Competency from DGMS, along with valid Gas Testing & First Aid Certificate.
- For Mining Sirdar – Candidates should have completed Matriculation from a Govt. recognised Institute with valid Mining Sirdar’s Certificate of Competency from DGMS under CMR (for Coal Mines), along with valid Gas Testing & First-Aid Certificate.
- For Surveyor – Candidates should have completed Matriculation with 03 years full time Diploma in Mining & Mine’s Survey from a Govt. recognised Institute with minimum 50% aggregate marks (40% aggregate marks for SC/ST/Departmental candidates) with Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency.
Selection Process: Selection will be based on Written Test and Skill Test / Trade Test.
