SAIL Durgapur ACT Selection Process 2021:
- For the Executive position [Asst Mgr (Safety)] – candidates will be shortlisted for interview in a 1:3 ratio, in order of merit, based on their CBT scores. If more than one candidate achieves the CBT cut-off marks, then all of them will be invited to an interview.
- For Non-Executive positions, lists of candidates will be generated post-by-post, category-by-category, in order of merit, based on total marks obtained in the CBT. For each role and category, candidates will be shortlisted in a 1:3 ratio for the Skill Test / Trade Test. If more than one candidate achieves the CBT cut-off points, then all of them will be called for the Skill Test / Trade Test. The Skill Test / Trade Test will be used to determine eligibility.
- For Executive post [Asst Mgr (Safety)]- The final merit list will be compiled in descending order based on the candidates’ combined total marks obtained during the selection process, i.e. CBT and Interview. The weighting assigned to different components of the CBT & Interview selection process will be 80:20.
- For Non-Executive posts: On the basis of total marks earned in the CBT, a final merit list will be created in descending order for applicants who qualify in the Skill Test / Trade Test, separately for each post / discipline / trade & category.
