SAI Vacancy 2021
Sports Authority of India offered one vacancy was offered for the post of Resident Grade II Doctor at NCOE Bangalore on contract basis. The number of vacancies and the place of deployment can be varied as per workload.
Resident Doctor Age Limit
Candidate’s age limit should not exceed the maximum age limit of 45 years as on 01-05-2021. Candidates should submit Matriculation or Secondary School Leaving Certificate as proof of date of birth.
SAI Eligibility Criteria
- For the post of Resident Grade II Doctor Candidate should have completed Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule form recognized university of institution by Indian Medical Council.
- The applicant must have permanent registration from any State Medical Council/MCI and the candidate should possess medical qualification included in First/Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule of IMC Act 1956.
SAI Selection Process
- Candidates will be shortlisted for interview based on Specialization, work experience the selection process detailed below. Based on the performance on the interview candidates will be appointed for the post of Resident Grade II Doctor.
- The selection Process for interview contains 50 marks based on the merit list candidates will be selected for interview
| Specialization (30 marks) | · 30 marks will be if candidates completed MD or DNB in Sports medicine, Orthopaedics, PMR, Physiology.
· 20 marks will be given for candidates who PG diploma Sports medicine, Orthopaedics, PMR. |
| Total Work Experience (10 Marks) | 2 marks will be awarded for every completed 1 year of work experience as a medical practitioner up to a maximum of 10 marks |
| Work experience in sports establishment. (10 Marks) | Additional 2 marks will be given for every completed 1 year of work experience as medical practitioner for up to a maximum of 10 marks |
Interview Process
Interview will be conducted for 100 marks the marks distribution will be given below

| Aptitude for working in a sports organization | 10 |
| Knowledge related to recent advancements in Sports Medicine | 10 |

Resident Doctor Salary in India
Selected candidate will be paid for Rs. 60,000-80,000/- with Annual Increment of 7% (maximum) will be given based on satisfactory performance. Other allowances such as TA /DA, Accommodation will be given to selected candidate
