Short Information: Right Now, SAI invites offline applications for recruitment of 07 Assistant Nutritionist, Assistant Chef, Lab Technician for Medical Labs (Grade I) and Nursing Assistant posts. About SAI:
SAI is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, with the mandate of development and promotion of Sports in the country, SAI’s main objective today is to achieve excellence in sports and train & prepare sportspersons to participate in international competitions. It has international standard sports infrastructure spread across the country along with trained coaches to achieve its objectives.
SAI Eligibility Criteria 2021:
Interested Candidates must have following educational qualifications from a government approved university or institution.
Assistant Nutritionist – Masters in Food & Nutrition/Home Science with Specialization from recognized Indian University and .Experience.Min.2 years of in the relevant field with Preference will be given to candidate’s experience of working with sports person.
Assistant Chef – Diploma in Hotel Management or Equivalent. Certificate Chef Course that last 6-12 months and Relevant experience in the field for 2 years.
Lab Technician for Medical Labs (Grade I) – 12th Class pass with Science subjects (in10+2system)or equivalent from a recognized Board and Diploma in Medical Laboratory Techniques from a recognized Institute and Degree in Science from a recognized University and
Nursing Assistant – Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized university/Board and Certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized Institution or equivalent qualification for male nurses.
Age Limit:
- The candidate must not have attained Minimum 35 years to Maximum 50 years of age as on the closing date of advertisement.
- Candidates should note that only the Date of Birth as recorded in the Matriculation/ Secondary Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate as on the date of submission of applications will be accepted and no subsequent request for its change will be considered or granted.
SAI Salary Package 2021:
Salary will be finalized based on performance and experience.
- Assistant Nutritionist – Rs. 40,000/-to 60,000/-
- Assistant Chef – Rs. 30,000/-to 50,000/-
- Lab Technician for Medical Labs (Grade I) – Rs25, 000/-
- Nursing Assistant – Rs 25,000/-
Tenure: Initial contractual engagement will be for a period of three years. The tenure can be further extended by two years for a maximum period of five years on the basis of satisfactory performance. The tenure is subject to continuation of Khelo India Scheme.
Other Allowances: – No TA /DA shall be admissible for joining the assignment or on its completion. No other facilities like DA, Accommodation, Residential Phone, Conveyance /Transport, Personal Staff, Medical reimbursement, HRA, and LTC etc. would be admissible to them. In case he/she is required to proceed outstation from the place of posting for official duty, he/she will be entitled to TA/DA as admissible for pay Level- 4 under GOI rules.
Leave: – Personnel will be entitled for 30 days leave in a calendar year on pro- rata basis. Employee shall not draw any remuneration in case of his/her absence beyond 30 days in a year. Also any un-availed leave in a calendar year will lapse and will not be carried forward to the next calendar year.
SAI Selection Process 2021:
- The candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria will be shortlisted and called for online interview in the order of merit after internal assessment based on educational qualifications and experience.

Call Letters for Interview:

- The interview will be of 100marks.
