TN Finance Minister Minister Palanivel Thiaga Rajan is presenting the General Budget. This is the 1st time that the TN government submitting paperless budget. In this budget scheme TN government allotted Rs. 120 Crores to Home Based Education Program. The government also announced to give Rs. 1000 per month to Girl Students through bank who studied 6th to 12th Standard in Government Schools. The Government also planned to build model schools in 15 Districts of TN.

Finance minister P.T.R. Palanivel Rajan said that all assistance would be provided to students who have had to discontinue their education in returning from war-torn Ukraine. He also shared that ongoing crisis between Russia-Ukraine will cause a demand shock and global supply disruptions to the State’s economy.
