The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has put the NTPC CBT on hold due to restrictions imposed by the states due to Covid 19. The Railway Recruitment Board has released the notice for Non-Technical Popular Categories. RRB said on 31.05.2021 that further scheduling of NTPC CBT has been held up due to the restrictions imposed by the states in view of the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic. However, RRB will announce further schedules in due course once the restrictions are eased.
The recruitment process commenced in December 2020 after easing the restriction after the first wave of Covid 19. The 6th phase of the first stage of RRB NTPC CBT was conducted in April 2021. The RRB further informed the candidates that further scheduling of examinations will be informed in due course after the restrictions imposed by various states are eased.
According to the Notification “The recruitment process has commenced from December 2020 after easing of restrictions imposed on account of COVID 19 and is being held in phases.
Further scheduling of CBT has been held up because of various restrictions imposed by the affected states due to the spread of Covid-19 pandemic once again.
Candidates are hereby informed that further scheduling of examinations will be advised in due course once the restrictions imposed by various states are eased“
