Ministry of Finance Notification Eligibility:

The maximum age limit of the candidates should not exceed 56 years. Officers under the Central or State Government Departments or organizations should have the below said eligibility:

For Inspector Posts: Inspector of Income Tax or customs and GST or Narcotics (Central Bureau of Narcotics or Narcotics Control Bureau) or Assistant Enforcement Officer or Sub Inspector of Police organization, Central Bureau of Investigation. (OR) Head Clerks or Tax Assistant or Upper Division Clerks of Income Tax, GST and custom dept for promotion to the grade of inspector in the respective departments.

For Assistant Posts: Candidates should hold analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department (OR) UDC or tax assistant of the central or state government department to apply for this Assistant Posts

For Steno Grade II Post: Aspirants must hold analogous posts or with 8 years regular service in the grade of stenographer Grade III with having a speed of 100 Words per minute in stenography (English)

Finance Ministry Salary:

The selected candidates for the posts of Inspector and Assistant will receive salary in Pay Band 2 Level Rs.9300 – 34800-4200 (Pre Revised) Revised – Rs.35400 & Pay Matrix Level 6. The pay scale will be varied depending on the post
