Rajasthan CM: Recruitment for 60K posts in Schools in the State will be done Soon and Increase of English Medium Schools. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on 02.11.2021 made several announcements to upgrade and strengthen school education in the state, including recruitment to 60,000 different posts in the school education department and scaling up of 626 schools.
- At a school education department review meeting, Gehlot announced early recruitment for 60,000 various positions.
- In the meeting, he urged authorities to complete the Lecturer Recruitment-2018 process as soon as possible, as well as to release the waiting lists for 193 PTI Grade-III Recruitment-2011 positions and 444 Senior Teacher Recruitment-2016 positions.
- Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said in a tweet on Tuesday that 60,000 school jobs in the state will be filled shortly. According to the CM’s tweet, openings in different positions such as teacher, basic computer instructor, senior computer instructor, lecturer, second grade teacher, basic education teacher, and physical education teacher have been determined to be filled during the education department’s review meeting.

- The Rajasthan State Education Regulatory Commission will be established to regulate private educational institutions’ fees and other concerns. After examining the interests of the state government, educational institution management, and all other stakeholders, including parents, the panel will reach a judgement. Government positions for scout mentors and NSS students such as athletics and NCC would be given precedence under separate criteria.
- The CM Said that “Considering the interest of the people in Mahatma Gandhi English medium schools in the cities, a survey would be conducted to increase their number and many more English medium schools would be opened if required”.
- Gehlot said tests would be conducted to increase the post of physical education teachers to encourage sports and bring awareness about physical education among children. Simultaneously, efforts will be made to increase the number of physical education training centres, both in the public and private sectors.
