There were 2 vacancies offered for the post of Joint General Manager/ Deputy General Manager (Finance) at Delhi, 3 Vacancy for Joint General Manager/ Deputy General Manager (Tech) at Hubli, Mumbai and Nagpur and 1 vacancy for ADDL.GM at Ahmadabad Railtel Corporation of India Limited.
General Manager Eligibility at Railtel
- Candidate’s age should not exceed the maximum age limit 56 years as on closing date of the application to apply for Railtel Recruitment 2021.
- For Junior General Manager post candidate should have 10 years of work experience as JAG Officer at Gazetted Service and for the post of Deputy General Manager candidates should have worked JAG officer or Sr. Scale Officer for 8 years on Gazetted Service.
- For JGM Tech candidate should have completed 10 years of work experience as JAG at gazette Service and for DGM Tech candidate should have worked for 8 years as JAG at gazette Service
- For the post of GM (Territory Manager) candidates should have worked for ADDL GM SG Officers
Railtel Salary Structure
Candidates will be paid based on parent pay that is last received pay check with depuration allowance. Based on the performance of the candidates salary gets increased by time to time in Railtel Corporation of India Limited.
General Manager Job responsibilities
- JGM and DGM (Finance) will be responsible for accounting and finance matters in respect of establishment, expenditure, book keeping, taxation, tenders, project execution works, audit matter etc. , Role Bearer should have proficiency in Computer, Liasioning with Railways and other institutions.
- JGM and DGM Tech will be responsible for all video Surveillance system projects and provisioning of content on demand in coaches, implementation and maintenance of e-office in workshop and execution of IOT delivery system and coordinate with railway for various activities of workshops for enhancing their efficiency by using ICT and marketing of telecom services
- ADDL.GM (Territory Manager) will be responsible for Next Generation Network and system Integration& Rail wire business in the state, IT Project Execution, Maintenance of telecom assets in the territory, planning, designing and execution of S and T Project Works
Railtel Deputation Details
Candidates will be selected based on deputation for the period of 3 years or till RCIL is exempted from the rule of immediate absorption which ever earlier. The deputation period will increased based on the performance of the candidates.
General Manager Selection Process
Based on the applications candidates will get shortlisted for personal Interview. Interview details will be informed later to shortlisted candidates. Candidates will get selected for the post of JGM and DGM based on the performance of the interview and last 5 years of APARs Rating given by previous employee.
