PSEB Class 8th, 10th Result 2021 Declared – 99.88% pass 8th, 99.93% pass 10th | Check Details Here. The Punjab School Education Board on Monday, May 17 declared the results of Class 8 and Class 10 on the basis of continuous comprehensive evaluation (CCE). The pass percentage for PSEB class 10 examination is 99.93%. The board had announced the results based on the internal assessments of class 10 students, as the examination had to be cancelled in wake of the rising number of coronavirus cases across the country.
PSEB Board chairperson Yograj was quoted by HT in its report as “Even government schools boasted of a high pass percentage of 99.96% in the last five decades”.
Punjab Board 10th, 8th Results 2021: In class 10th, 99.93% of students have passed and government schools have performed better than affiliated and associated schools. Out of the total 3,21,384 students, 3,21,163 have passed.(Sanchit Khanna/HT file)
As per the result statistics released by the board, the girls have outnumbered the boys in both the classes. A total of 3,07,272 students were eligible for the class 8 examinations out of which 3068893 students cleared the exam. A total of 321384 students were eligible for the class 10 exams from which 321161 were declared as qualified in class 10.

Punjab Board had announced that the PSEB class 10 students will be evaluated based on assessment criteria set by the board since the exams were cancelled. The class 10 exams were cancelled due to the COVID-19 situation in the state. The results of Class 8 and 10 students were declared based on the internal assessment marks covering the parameter of all the subjects.
