PSSSB Recruitment 2023 Age Limit:
The age limit for the candidates applying afresh for the above posts should be as per the instructions of Punjab Government on 01-01-2023 as follows:
- General category candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 37 years.
- Candidate’s resident of Scheduled Caste and Backward Class of Punjab State shall have maximum age limit of 42 years.
- The maximum age limit shall be 45 years, subject to relaxation in the upper age limit for State and Central Government employees.
PSSSB Group B & C Eligibility Criteria 2023:
Candidates must have completed Graduation with 50% marks from a Government recognized University or Institution and Should possess minimum Three Year Diploma in Civil Engineering from State Technical Education Board or from a Government recognized University or Institution.
PSSSB Junior Engineer Salary 2023:
Salary for the Group B & C Post is 35,400/- (Pay scale as per 7th CPC/pay matrix and report of the in house committee (minimum pay admissible)).
PSSSB Recruitment 2023 Selection Process:
- Only Objective Type {Multiple Choice Question (MCQ)} will be conducted for written examination. After receiving complete online applications in all respects, the candidates will be issued an Online Admit Card for the written examination on the board’s website itself.
- The probable syllabus and pattern of the written exam will be uploaded later on the board’s website. All information related to objective type written exam like exam date and exam center etc. will be uploaded only on the board website https://sssb.punjab.gov.in.

- Candidates can click on the link provided under “Online Applications” on the Board website https://sssb.punjab.gov.in from 06/09/2023 to 29/09/2023, 5:00 PM only online. Applications received through any other mode will not be accepted and will be considered rejected.
- The instructions for applying online (procedure) are listed under the title “Instructions for applying online” available on the website of the board.
- Candidates should first click on the link of (JE (civil), JE Civil (O and M) and JE) or (Sr Asst cum Inspector) available on the website of the Board. After that candidates will register by filling personal details.
- After the registration is successful, the username and password will be generated, using which the candidates will log in again and fill the complete application form step-wise and submit it. But this application form will be accepted only after successful payment of fee.
- Candidates will scan and upload their passport size photograph, signature and required educational qualification such as Matric certificate with date of birth, graduation, post graduation, computer qualification and category etc. while filling the online application form. The fee can be deposited/paid only after uploading these documents and submitting the complete Online Application Form.
