Written Test
Candidates enrolling for the PSSSB Clerk Recruitment Examination 2020 will have to appear for the written test. The test comprises 100 questions of 1 mark each, based on subjects including English, Punjabi, General Knowledge, Reasoning/ Mental Ability, and Computer IT. The final selection will be based solely on the results obtained in the written examination by the candidates only.
Personal Interview
The Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board will shortlist candidates based on the results of the written examination and call in such qualified candidates for a personal interview round. The interview round is to be held in Punjabi only. Candidates who manage to get through the personal interview round and secure more than the prescribed PSSSB Clerk Cut Off marks, will be recruited for the post.

- The PSSSB Clerk exam implements a negative marking system for wrongly selected answers. For every wrong answer, a total of 0.25 marks will be deducted from the total marks allotted to that question.
- There is no deduction of marks for unattempted questions.
