• An applicant must be a graduate of any recognised college or university to apply for the position of a casual Video Editor who works on a project basis. A diploma in editing from a recognised institution is required of the candidate. The course should last at least one year. Previous experience as a video editor (hands-on expertise with video editing skills) is unquestionably beneficial. Candidates must be under the age restriction set by the board.
• You’ll need a lot of determination to succeed as an editor, which means you’ll have to be willing to get involved and perform even the simplest tasks. You must have prior experience working on a TV show, video production, or post-production, preferably through an up-to-date and well-prepared show reel. A Video Editor who is chosen will be paid Rs 1980/- per assignment. This figure is still being revised. At times, a single assignment may necessitate more than a day’s effort. The maximum number of assignments each month is eight.
