The linking of the mobile number to the respective bank account is one of the mandatory processes for both verification and contact. If peoples want to change their mobile number linked to their bank account can be done in 3 ways. The steps are mentioned below.
- How To Change Mobile Number via Internet Banking:
- Login to Online SBI (https://retail.onlinesbi.com/retail/login.htm)
- Click the ‘Profile’ tab.
- Click on the ‘Personal Details’ link and enter your profile password.
- Display Name, Email ID, and mobile number registered in INB will be displayed.
- Click on the hyperlink ‘Change Mobile Number-Domestic only (Through OTP/ATM)’.
- A new screen ‘Personal Details-Mobile Number Update’with three tabs ‘Create Request’, ‘Cancel Request’, and ‘Status’ will appear.
- Input ‘New mobile number’and Re-input ‘new mobile number’
- Click on the ‘Submit’
- A pop-up message ‘Verify and confirm your mobile number xxxxxxxxxx’will appear on the screen.
- Click ‘Ok’to proceed.
- The confirmation can be done in two ways, either by OTP on both the Mobile Numbers or by IRATA Internet Banking Request Approval through ATM.
- You can also check the status of the request by clicking the ‘Status’ option
2. How To Change Mobile Number Via Bank:
- Visit the nearby SBI Bank
- Submit a request letter by mentioning your account details.
- After necessary verification, the mobile number will be changed and you will get a confirmation by SMS.
- How To Change Mobile NumberVia ATM:
- Visit the nearby SBI ATM
- Select the Registration option and enter your ATM pin
- Select the Mobile Number Registration option
- Select the Change Mobile Number option
- You will be asked to enter your old mobile number and confirm it
- you will be asked to enter the new mobile number and confirm it
- Different OTPs will be sent to both the new and old mobile numbers by submitting the OTPs the mobile number will be changed.
- The confirmation will be send to the registered mobile number.
