Over 80% of Indian Companies Shows Interest To Hire Green Skilled Employees: Recent survey of staffing firm states that nearly 84% of Indian firms are showing deep interest to hire the green skilled employees, in specific to that, IT sector shows more interest with 89% when compared to the other sectors. This survey was released on Tuesday (13.06.2023).
The firms are strongly believed that green-skilled employees will develop the environmental status of the company and sustainability-based products. IT sectors show more interest to hire green skilled employees followed by transport, logistics & automotive, and energy & utility sectors with 88% of willingness.
This survey was conducted among 3,020 companies, with the consumer goods & services sector showing the lowest interest to hire the above-mentioned employees. The report states that North India has the highest sentiment with 85% followed by West India with 84 and South India with 83% to onboard the green skilled employees.
