Over 16,000 Vacancies Should Be Filled Soon – Demanded By Employee’s Union In This State: In Karnataka, the newly formed Mr. Siddaramaih government has implemented many welfare schemes for the state people which also includes free bus travel for state women in government buses. Recently the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) employees union has demanded the government fill up the 16,696 vacant positions in the transport department.
The free bus travel scheme has caused huge crowds in the government buses because of this the conductors are suffering more, so the union has demanded to fill up the vacant positions and insisted to run additional buses across the state.

This was demanded by KSRTC Employees and Workers Federation president Mr. Ananda Subbarao through a letter to the government. He also states that according to Srinivasamurthy’s report, nearly 3000 villages across the state are in lack of transports facility, the government should also consider this a serious matter and the needful should be done earlier.
It is expected that the newly formed Karnataka government will soon fill up the vacant positions in all the departments. Upon the announcement of the demand, the state youths are cherishing the union for considering this and the peoples are also in cherish for the welfare schemes of the government.
