OPTCL Age Limit
Candidate’s age should between 21 years and 32 years. Age limit must be calculated as on 01.05.2021. Age relaxation will be given to SC, ST, PWD, Women, Ex-servicemen and SEBC as per government norms.
Management Trainee Eligibility at OPTCL
MT- Finance: Candidates should have completed their graduation from recognized university with passing of the Final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/Institute of Cost & Works Accounts of India can apply for this post.
MT-HRD: Applicant should have completed Bachelors Degree and should completed PG Degree/Diploma of two years duration in Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations and Labour Welfare/ HRD/HRM/PM&IR/MBA with specialization in HRD or Personnel Management from recognized University/ Institution with at least 60% marks in aggregate to apply for this recruitment.
MT-LAW: Candidate should have completed Degree in Law from recognized university or Institution.
MT-IT: Candidate should have completed BE or B.Tech., or M.Tech., in Computer Science/ Information Technology/MCA and securedminimum of 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University/ Institution. For SC/ST candidates, the minimum marks is 50%.
MT-CS: Applicant should have completed graduation with Company Secretary having Associate Membership of Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
MT-ECONOMIST: To apply for the post of MT Economist candidate should have completed PG in Economics/ Finance Management with minimum of 60% of marks from recognized university of Institution.
OPTCL MT Salary
Selected candidate for the post of Management trainee will get paid for Rs. 24,000 per month for the training period. After completing training period 1-year candidate will be appointed as Assistant Manager and get paid for Rs. 56,100/- to Rs.1,77,500/ per month with Basic Pay, DA, HRA or company accommodation, Medical Allowance, Conveyance Allowance etc

OPTCL Management Trainee Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on the performance on Computer Based Test (CBT) and Personal Interview.
- Eligible candidates will be called for CBT Test, which contains 200 MCQs.
- On this CBT exam 80% questions will be asked from Subject Knowledge, 10% from Numerical / GK & Reasoning and 10% from English Knowledge.
- The exam duration will be 3 hours
- Based on the merit list of the CBT exam, candidate will be called for Personal Interview
- The weightage for CBT & Personal Interview is 80% & 20% respectively.
- Based on the performance on CBT and Interview candidates will get selected.
OPTCL Application Fee
Unreserved and SEBC candidates should have to pay Rs. 1000 as application fee, SC/ST and PWD candidates should have to pay Rs. 500 as application fee. The fee online paid through online mode.
