Odisha Civil Service Preliminary Exam Date 2021 Postponed – OPSC OCS Prelims New Date will be announced Soon!!! – Odisha Public Service Commission has postponed Odisha Civil Service Preliminary examination due to Lockdown. The OCS Preliminary written examination was scheduled to be conducted on 23.05.2021. Because of 2nd wave of Covid-19 the Government of Odisha declared Lockdown throughout the state from 05.05.2021 to 19.05.2021. Now OPSC has released a notification says that the OCS Preliminary written examination was postponed due to Covid-19. The postponed notification was given at the end of the post.

Odisha Civil Service Preliminary Examination Details
There were 392 vacancies were recruitment thorough Odisha Civil Service Examination named OAS, OFS, OPS, OCS, ORS and OT&AS. Selected candidates for the post of Group A will get paid for Rs. 56,100 and for Group B will get paid for Rs. 44,900. Previously OPSC was scheduled the 23.05.2021. But the 2nd wave of Covid-19 started to spread drastically. Many of the examinations were postponed due to Covid-19.
OPSC OCS Exam Date 2021 Postponed
- Due to Increasing number of Corona cases in Government of Odisha Declared Full Lock Down thorough the Odisha state. The Lockdown starts from 05.05.2021 to 19.05.2021 and there are many chances for extension of this lockdown. Because of that OPSC has postponed the OCS examination. The Preliminary exam date will be announced later on Official website of OPSC.
