Central Government Jobs 2023

OPSC OAS Vacancy 2022:

• There are a total of 683 vacancies to be filled up through this recruitment.

OPSC Qualification 2022:

Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from any University incorporated by an Act of the Central or a State Legislature in India or an Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament or deemed to be a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or a Foreign University approved by the Central Government from time to time.

OPSC Age limit 2022:

• A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be above the age of 38 years as of 1 January 2022.
• They must not have been born earlier than 2nd January 1984 and not later than 1st January 2001.
• The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/SEB.C/Women/ Ex-Serviceman.
• And 10 years relaxation is applicable for PWDs whose permanent disability is 40% or more.
• Persons with Disabilities belonging to SC/ST/SEBC category are eligible for cumulative age relaxation benefits.

OPSC OAS Salary:

For GROUP – A posts:

Odisha Administrative Service – The salary will be given Rs.56,100/- in Level-12-Cell-1 in the Pay Matrix under Rule-3 of ORSP Rules, 2017.

For GROUP B posts:

For the posts of Odisha Co-operative Service, Odisha Labour Service, Group-B, Odisha Transport Service, Odisha Taxation & Accounts, Odisha Taxation & Accounts, the salary will be given as Rs 44,900/- in Level-10-Cell-1 in the Pay Matrix provided under Rule-3 of ORSP Rules, 2017.

OPSC Selection Process:

• The selection process will be based on Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) and the Main Examination (Written and Interview) for the selection of candidates for the various Services and posts.
• The Preliminary Examination shall comprise two compulsory papers of objective types (Multiple Choice Questions) carrying a maximum of 200 marks
• The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination by the candidates who are declared qualified for admission to the Main Examination.

Important Certificates:

• HSC or equivalent certificate in support of declaration of age issued by the concerned Board/Council.
• Bachelor’s Degree Certificate issued by the concerned University.
• Certificate of any other higher qualification(s) issued by the University/Institution.
• Caste Certificate by birth in support of claim as SC/ST/SEBC wherever applicable(Please see Note-1-Para-09)
