OPSC Vacancy 2021:
The board has allotted 606 vacancies for this position. The vacancies of assistant professors (Stage-I) in Group-A of Odisha Education Service (OES).
Eligible candidates will be recruited in different disciplines of government degree colleges under the State Higher Education Department.
OPSC Assistant professor Eligibility Criteria 2021:
Educational Qualification:
A candidate must possess master’s degree, with at least 55% of marks (50% for SC/ST, SEBC & PwD categories), National Eligibility Test (NET) qualified or Ph.D degree in the concerned/relevant/ allied subject from an Indian University or a Foreign University.
OPSC Recruitment 2021 Age Limit:
- The candidates should have an age limit between 21 to 45 years are eligible for apply to the posts as on 3.12.2021.
- Relaxable will be given by 5 years to candidates belonging to SC/ST/ SEBC/women and by 10 years to persons with disabilities whose permanent disability is 40% and more.
OPSC Assistant Professor Salary Details 2021:
The salary structure for Odisha Assistant professor is Scale of Pay of Rs.58, 600/- of Level-10, Cell- 01 of Pay Matrix under ORSP Rules and other Allowances as may be sanctioned by the Government of Odisha from time to time.
OPSC Selection Process 2021:
Selection for direct recruitment to the rank of Assistant Professor (Stage-I) shall be made by the Commission on the basis of merit to be judged by performance in interview of eligible shortlisted candidates.
The candidates will be directly recruited on the basis of merit to be judged by performance in interview.
OPSC Recruitment 2021 Application Fee:
A candidate is required to pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of Rs.400 only. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe of Odisha and Persons with Disabilities (whose permanent disability is 40% and more) are exempted from payment of this fee.
