Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Limited has recently published latest employment news for the post of 30+ Field Medical Officers (FMO), General Duty Medical Officers (GDMO), Visiting Specialists (Panvel) vacancies. Earlier ONGC Online Application link was activating on 12.04.2021. According to the Official Said; Apply online will be closed within two days i.e (18.04.2021).

Note: The period of contract shall normally be till 30/06/2022. The job is purely on contract basis and does not carry any liability on the part of ONGC to grant regular appointment at any stage.
ONGC Eligibility Criteria 2021:
- The Candidate must possess the essential prescribed qualifications as well as a valid registration with the concerned statutory authority (wherever applicable) on or before the last date of registration. Experience is desirable for all posts.
- Interested and Willing Candidates shall complete Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) and MD-General Medicine and MD (Paediatrics), MS- General Surgery, MD (Pathology) and MD/ MS (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) are eligible to apply.
- Nomenclature of qualifications shall be as prescribed by UGC/ Medical Council of India. Qualifications equivalent to the one prescribed in this advertisement will not be accepted. This includes any equivalent qualification acquired from a foreign university.
- An application also having the age limit for Field Medical Officer (Offshore) is 60 years of age as on 30/06/2022 and s 45 years. However, Female employees can be posted to offshore after attaining 45 years of age subject to medical clearance.
ONGC Selection Process 2021:
- Shortlisted candidates shall be called for either a face to face interview or through video conferencing (to be decided later by ONGC) based on a preliminary verification of the documents submitted by the candidate. The candidates are therefore advised to submit complete documents and true and correct data in the web link.
- In case of the interview being conducted through video conferencing, candidate will be advised the date and time of the interview through e-mail and through SMS. ONGC however does not take any responsibility of the mail being sent to a spam folder or the message not being delivered due to network failure.
- In case of video conferencing the following software shall be used for video communication:- MS Teams or WebEx or Google Meet. For better user experience, candidates are advised to keep these apps downloaded. ONGC may add more apps for communication depending upon feasibility. Candidates will be informed of the detailed modalities for video conferencing subsequently.
Note: Qualifying marks in the interview shall be 18 marks for UR/OBC and 12 marks for SC/ST category.
Finalization of Merit List:
- Candidates who qualify in the interview shall be empanelled in the Merit List.
- Offer of appointment shall be issued to the candidates based on their relative rank in the Merit List prepared on the sum total of marks scored by the candidate in qualification and interview.
- In case of a tie in the total marks scored between two candidates, then the candidate who scores more marks in interview shall be considered senior. In case there too the marks are equal then the candidate who is older in age shall be considered senior for issue of offer of appointment.
