OMC Limited Recruitment 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Age limit

Age limit for Deputy General Manager is not above 44 years for Senior Manager post is not above 40 years for Deputy General Manager is 50 years and  Manager Forest & Environment post is not above 36 years.

For Deputy Manager in Personnel, Deputy Manager in Finance and Medical Officer age limit is not below 21 years and not above 32 years is mandatory to apply for OMC Limited Recruitment 2021.

Education Qualification

Qualification needed for Deputy General Manager and Senior Manager post in mining department is BE/B. Tech in Mining Engg. with 1st Class MMCC and Desirable qualification is MBA / PGDMM from an University / Institute recognized by AICTE is Mandatory.

For Deputy General Manager post candidates should have Bachelor’s Degree in Law from recognized university and For Manager post candidate should have B. Tech. in Environmental Engineering from an University / Institute recognized by AICTE.

For Deputy Manager post candidate should have MBA / PGDM in Personnel / HR / Industrial Relation from recognized Institute approved by AICTE or Master’s / Post Graduation in Social Welfare / Labour Welfare / Industrial Relations / Personnel Management or equivalent from a recognized University / Institute approved by AICTE and For Deputy Manager post Candidate should have Associate / Fellow member of ICAI / ICWAI is mandatory.

For Medical Officer post Candidate should have MBBS degree and shall be given to the candidates with higher qualification and experience is preferred.

Required Experience

For Deputy Manager Post: Candidate Must have at least 12 years of post-degree experience out of which 04 years must be in the area of Sales& Marketing of major minerals like Iron Ore, Chrome Ore, Bauxite Ore & Manganese Ore.

For Senior Manager Post: Must have at least 08 years of post-degree experience out of which 02 years must be in the area of Sales& Marketing of major minerals like Iron Ore, Chrome Ore, Bauxite Ore & Manganese Ore.

For Deputy Manager Post: Candidate Should have 18 years relevant Post Qualification experience as practicing Lawyer in High Court or as Law Officer in any Government/State PSU/ Central PSU/ other Corporate House of repute or any other incorporated Company. In depth understanding of legal compliance framework in large manufacturing / Mining Sector will be an added advantage.

For Manager in Forest & Environment Post: Candidate should have Minimum 04 (four) years experience in statutory compliance monitoring (F&E) matters/ Processing of statutory clearance pertaining to Forest/Environmental matters.

Besides Basic Pay , the selected candidates will get other benefits like Dearness Allowance, Attendant Allowance, Conveyance Expenses, Corporation quarters for accommodation or House Rent Allowance in lieu of that, LTC, Medical facilities for self & dependent family members, Liveries, Scholarship for meritorious children etc. as per Rules of the Corporation. Special Allowance @ Rs.10,000/-p.m. shall be admissible to the Medical Officers in lieu of Non-Practicing Allowance.

OMC Recruitment 2021 Selection process

Eligible candidates will be short-listed in the following manner:

• Total marks 100(Base Career-50, Higher Education -10, Experience -10, Personal Interview-30) 02 (two) marks shall be given for every additional relevant higher qualification subject to a maximum of 10 (ten) marks.
• 02 (two) marks shall be given for every year of additional relevant experience over & above the required experience subject to a maximum of 10 (ten) marks.
• Selection will be made on the basis of Personal Interview of short-listed candidates.
