Age Limit for OCPL Recruitment 2021
For all the post candidates age should not less than 21 years as on 07-04-2021 and for senior manager the upper age limit is 50, for Manager, Deputy manager, Senior Assistant manager and Assistant manager the upper age limit is 45 and for Overman, Junior Overman and Junior Foreman the upper age limit is 35 years.
Assistant Manager Eligibility Criteria at OCPL
- For the post of senior manager, manager, Deputy Manager and Senior Assistant manager candidate should have completed Degree or Diploma in Mining Engineering from a recognized Institute or university and should have mine manager certificate of Competency (Coal) under the Coal Mines Regulations issued by DGMS. Candidates should have minimum 2 years to 13 years of work experience required to apply for this recruitment. Check the official Notification for the detailed post qualification experience.
- For the post of Assistant Manager in electrical candidate should have completed degree in Degree in Electrical Engineering and Supervisor Certificate of Competency (SCC) HT license from ELBO covering mining installations. Candidate should have minimum 2 years of work experience in related field.
- For the post of Overman candidate should have completed Diploma in Mining with Overman’s Certificate of Competency and should have minimum of 1 year of work experience in working in shifts & take charge of a loading of coal in a coal mine.

Assistant Manager Selection Process at OCPL
- Based on the application candidates will be shortlisted for personal Interview
- Based on the performance in personal interview, organizational requirement candidates will get selected
- For final selection candidates should have to go through medical fitness test
- The selected candidates will be taken under probation for a period of minimum one year
