NWDA Eligibility criteria 2021
Age limit
Candidate age limit should be 18 years to 30 years is Mandatory. For Specific age limit, candidate should check the official notification. Age relaxation for SC / ST candidate is 5 years, For OBC Candidate is 3 years, for Physically Handicapped age relaxation is 10 years and For Ex-serviceman post relaxation is service rendered in Army / Navy / Air Force plus 3 years.
Education Qualification
For Junior Engineer Post: Candidate should have Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognised University or equivalent and Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognised University or equivalent.
For Hindi Translator: Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level or English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level OR Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government office, including Government of India Undertaking.
For Junior Accounts Officer post: Degree in Commerce from a recognized University / Institute and Three year experience in Cash and Accounts in a Government Office / PSU / Autonomous Body / Statutory Body. And candidate should having CA / ICWAI / Company Secretary will be preferred.
For Upper Division clerk: Candidate should have Degree of a recognized university and should have knowledge of Computer operating systems, MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Internet.
For Stenographer Grade – II: Candidate should pass 12th Class passed from a recognized university and shorthand skill test at the speed of 80 wpm.
For Lower Division Clerk: Candidate should pass 12th Class passed from a recognized university and typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer.

NWDA Recruitment 2021 Selection process
- For the posts of Junior Engineer, Hindi Translator, Junior Accounts Officer and UDC the selection will be made through a competitive Computer Based online Test.
- For the posts of Stenographer Gr-II and LDC the selection will be made through a competitive Computer Based online Test and Skill Test (Shorthand/Typing).
- Qualified candidates in online examination test on merit basis will be called for Shorthand/Typing Test (Qualifying only). Typing Test will be conducted in English or Hindi on computer only.
NWDA Recruitment 2021 Application Fee
An Application Processing Fee of Rs.840/- (Rupees Eight Hundred and Forty only) for General & OBC category and Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) for SC, ST, Women, EWS and PWD category is payable through payment gateway. The application processing fee shall not be accepted in any other form. Fees once paid shall NOT be refunded under any circumstances nor can it be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.
