Selection Process
Eligible candidates will have to appear for objective type Written Examination / Test (Aptitude and Technical Test) to be conducted at concerned area. The duration, pattern, shortlisting ratio etc of the test will be decided depending upon the response from eligible & interested candidates.
Health
Before joining, candidates will have to undergo medical examination by NTPC Medical Board and the decision of the Board will be final and binding. Appointment will be subject to meeting the medical norms prescribed by the Company

Only Indian Nationals in the prescribed age group are eligible to apply. All qualifications should be from Indian Institutes recognized by BTE/SCVT/AICTE/ appropriate statutory authority like DGMS etc. TA/DA will not be paid to any candidate appearing for the written examination/ test. While applying for the post, the applicant should ensure that he / she fulfills the eligibility and other norms mentioned above, as on the specified dates and that the particulars furnished are correct in all respects. A candidate can apply for one post only. NTPC reserves the right to cancel / restrict / enlarge/ modify / alter this notice, if need so arises, without issuing any further notice or assigning any reason therefor.
