- Applicant should have adequate and in-depth experience of distribution at senior level of management in large organization of repute in the energy sector. The applicant must have experience of at least 23 years in power sector including 10 years in Distribution.
- The applicant must on the date of application, as well as on the date of interview be employed in a regular capacity and not in contractual/adhoc capacity in any of the CPSE including Subsidiaries/JV of CPSE, Central Govt/State Govt. State Public Sector Enterprises/Private Sector.

- Applicant from CPSE should have worked for at least 10 years or above in the pay scale of Rs. 1, 00,000-2, 60,000. Applicants from State Govt/State PSUs should have worked for at least 10 years or above in Superintendent Engineer and above level.
- Candidates do not exceeding upper age limit of 57 years. All qualifications should be from Universities/Institutions recognized and approved in India. All computations of age/ experience requirement/qualification shall be done w.r.t. the last date of receipt of online application as mentioned in the advertisement.
- Level/Pay Scale for Recruitment: E8 Level (Rs. 1.20.000-2.80, 000) IDA pay scale. The candidate should have sound health. Before joining, candidates will have to undergo medical examination at any of the NTPC hospitals and the decision will be final and binding. No relaxation in health standards is allowed.
