NEET 2022 Exam Date:
National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test [ NEET (UG) – 2021] will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) Sunday 2022 in Pen and Paper mode in 13 languages, as a uniform entrance examination for admission to MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS and other undergraduate medical courses in approved/recognized Medical/Dental /AYUSH and other Colleges/ Deemed Universities /Institutes (AIIMS & JIPMER) in India, as per Section 14 of The National Medical Commission (NMC) Act, 2019 and relevant Graduate Medical Education Regulations (GMER) 1997, as amended from time to time. The languages in which the NEET (UG) 2021 would be conducted are English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
NEET 2022 Notification Eligibility Criteria:
- A candidate who is appearing in the qualifying examination, i.e., 12 Standard in 2021, whose result is awaited, may apply and appear in the test but he/she shall not be eligible for admission to the Undergraduate Medical Courses if he/she does not pass the qualifying examination with the required pass percentage at the time of first round of Counselling.
- Candidates who have appeared or are appearing at the qualifying Examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the main subject and expect to pass the Examination with the required percentage of marks are also eligible to apply and appear in the Competitive Entrance Examination.
NEET 2022 Notification Age Limit:
- He/she has completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31 December of the year of his/her admission to the first year Undergraduate Medical Course.
- The upper age limit for NEET (UG) is 25 years as on the date of examination with a relaxation of 5 years for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC-NCL category and PwBD Candidates.

How to Apply NTA NEET 2022 Notification:
Step 1:A candidate can apply for the NEET (UG) – 2021 only online by logging on to https://neet.nta.nic.in/.
Step 2: Candidate’s Name/ Mother’s Name/ Father’s Name as given in the Secondary School Examination or equivalent Board/ University Certificate in capital letters. Date of Birth in dd/mm/yyyy format as recorded in Secondary School Examination or equivalent Board/ University certificate.
Step 3: Candidate’s Photograph: to be uploaded in JPG format Passport size Photograph (size: 10 kb to 200 kb) and Post Card size photograph (4”X6”) (Size: 10 kb to 200 kb).
Step 4: Candidate’s Signature: to be uploaded in JPG format. The candidate should put his full signature in running handwriting [not in the capital letter] on white paper with a Black Ink pen and scan for uploading.
Step 5: Candidate’s Left-hand thumb Impression: to be uploaded in JPG format. The candidate should put his/her left-hand thumb Impression on white paper with Blue Ink and scan for uploading. In case of any eventuality of the left thumb being unavailable, a right-hand thumb impression may be used.
Step 6: Select Debit/Credit Card/Net-banking/UPI /Paytm of Service Provider (Service/Processing charges per transaction & GST (as applicable) to be paid by the candidate wherever applicable) and complete the steps as instructed.
Step 7: Click on Submit Button and Take a Print Out for Future use.
