NEET 2020 Admit Card 2020 Details:

  • NTA reserves the right to withdraw permission, granted inadvertently if any, to any candidate who is not eligible to appear in the NEET (UG) – 2020 even though they Admit Card have been issued by the NTA.
  • Any request to change the Examination Centre, Date and Time provided on the Admit Card shall not be considered under any circumstances. In case of any deviation required due to unavoidable (medical, etc.) circumstances, specific approval of NTA must be taken before the Admit Cards are issued.
  • The candidate will bring only the following at the examination centre:
  • Admit Card along with passport size photograph affixed on it;
  • One passport size photograph to be affixed on Attendance Sheet.
  • Valid Original Identity proof, PwD certificate, if applicable.
  • One Post Card Size (4”X6”) color photograph with white background should be pasted on the Proforma downloaded with the Admit Card and should be handed over to Invigilator at Centre.
  • Note: Candidate who does not bring the downloaded proforma with post card size (4”X6”) photograph pasted and one passport size photograph will not be allowed to sit in the examination and shall lead to his/her disqualification.
  • The Admit Card is issued provisionally to the candidates, subject to the fulfillment of the eligibility conditions.
  • The candidate has to download the Admit Card from the NTA website w.e.f 27 March 2020 onwards and appear for the Examination at the given Centre on Date and Timing as indicated in their Admit Card.
  • No candidate will be allowed to appear at the examination centre, on Date and Timings other than that allotted to them in their Admit card. In case candidates are unable to download Admit Cards from the website, the candidate should approach the Help Line between 10.00 am to 5.00 pm from 27 March 2020 to 10 April 2020.
  • The candidates are advised to read the instructions on the Information Bulletin as well as on the Admit Card carefully and follow them during the conduct of the examination.
  • In case of any discrepancy in the particulars of the candidate or his/her photograph and signatures shown in the Admit Card and Confirmation Page, the candidate may immediately approach the Help Line between 10.00 am to 5.00 pm between 27 March 2020 to 10 April 2020.
  • In such cases, candidates would appear in the examination with the already downloaded Admit Card. However, NTA will take necessary action to make correction in the record later.

Note:

  1. Candidate may please note that Admit Card will not be sent by post.
  2. In no case, the duplicate Admit Card for NEET (UG)-2020 would be issued at the Examination Centres.
  3. Candidate must not mutilate the Admit Card or change any entry made therein.
  4. Candidates are advised to preserve their Admit Card in good condition for future reference.
  5. No Admit Card shall be issued to the candidates whose Applications are found to be incomplete for any reasons (including indistinct/ doubtful photographs/unsigned Applications) or who do not fulfill the eligibility criteria for the examination.
  6. Issue of Admit Card, however, shall not necessarily mean acceptance of eligibility which shall be further scrutinized at subsequent stages of admission process.

Instructions to Be Followed In The Examination Hall:

  • The Examination Centre will be opened two (02) hours before the commencement of the test. No candidate shall be allowed to enter the Examination Centre after 1:30 p.m. Therefore, candidates must ensure that they leave home well in advance considering all facts like traffic, location of the centre, weather conditions, etc. Candidates are expected to take their seats immediately after the opening of the Examination Hall.
  • The candidate must show, on demand, the Admit Card for admission in the Examination Hall. A candidate who does not possess the valid Admit Card shall not be allowed to enter the Examination Hall by the Centre Superintendent.
  • A seat with a roll number will be allotted to each candidate. Candidates must find out and occupy their allotted seats. If a candidate is found appearing in the Examination from a seat or room other than the allotted one, the candidature shall be cancelled.
  • During the examination time, the Invigilator will check Admit Card of the candidates to ascertain the identity of each candidate. The Invigilators will also put their own signature in the place provided in the Answer Sheet and on the Attendance Sheet.
  • A candidate who comes after 01:30 p.m. shall not be permitted to enter the Examination Centre under any circumstances.
  • Candidates must bring ONLY the following documents on the day of examination at the test centre. Candidates who will not bring these will not be allowed to sit in the examination.
  • Printed copy of Admit Card downloaded from NTA website with passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the Application form pasted on it).
  • One passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) for pasting on the specific space in the attendance sheet at Centre during NEET (UG) – 2020 Examination.
  • One Post Card Size (4”X6”) color photograph with white background should be pasted on the Proforma downloaded with the Admit Card. The proforma with Post Card size photograph shall be handed over to the Invigilator in the Examination Hall.
  • Any one of the authorized photo IDs (must be original and valid and like PAN card/Driving License/Voter ID/Passport/Aadhaar Card /Ration Card/Class XII Roll number issued by the Board/any other valid photo ID issued by the Government.
  • PwD certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if claiming the relaxation under PwD category.
  • Scribe (Letter of Undertaking of using own scribe), if applicable.
  • The Test will start exactly at the time mentioned in the Admit Card and an announcement to this effect will be made by the Invigilator.
  • Manipulation and fabrication of online documents viz. admit card, rank letter, self-declaration, etc.;
  • Affixing/uploading of wrong/morphed photographs on the application form/admit card/proforma;
  • Candidates must preserve the Admit Cards till their admission in Undergraduate Medical Courses.

Mode of Examination:

  • NEET (UG) – 2020 is a Pen & Paper-based test, to be answered on the specially designed machine gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen.
  • Duration of Test The duration of test would be three (03) hours.

Medium of the Question Paper:

  • Option of medium of Question Paper should be carefully chosen while filling in the Application Form. The option once chosen cannot be changed.
  • Candidates opting for English would be provided Test Booklet in English only.
  • Candidates opting for Hindi would be provided Bilingual Test Booklet in English and Hindi.
  • Candidates opting for Regional languages would also be provided Bilingual Test Booklet in selected Regional language and English.
  • In case of any ambiguity in translation of a question in the test, its English version shall be treated as final and the decision of NTA shall be final in this regard.
